My roommate was an outgoing and beautiful girl who liked to dress up attractively every day. Though I was a quiet girl that was very different from her, we got along with each other very well. We seldom quarrelled with each other for some trivial things. We tried our best to understand and respect each other. Of course, we also had a few unhappy memories.

Do you feel sick when you surf?

I had my first surfing lesson today and started to feel kind of dizzy when I was paddling out. It might have been the fact that it was my first time, that it was foggy and I couldn't see very well, that my wetsuit felt too hot and tight, or that I swallowed some seawater. I also have motion sickness and sometimes I feel a little sick riding in the back of a car. My teacher recommended eating ginger or wearing an acupressure bracelet, and I'm going to try at least one more lesson to see if it's better the second time. Did any of you have the same problem when you first started surfing? And what would you recommend since I have motion sickness? 10 points to the best answer.
Also I felt sick for pretty much the whole time I was on my board and I wiped out a few times.

noway Dude...It's the best natural high out there. I've been surfing since I was 11. If you have motion sickness then take Dramamine (people take it before boat rides, I think) Just let your body get used to it. And enjoy the ride. You will get addicted.
