I've looked around for some time on friendship and hemp bracelets sites. It doesn't seem to be a very popular knot, but I really like the way it looks.

Yea that's tricky. I have made hemp bracelets before, but I haven't come across that knot. I have seen similar ones from a book on Friendship Bracelets. Maybe search that and see what terms come up, maybe they will have that and then you can just use hemp instead of string.
