What color shoes should I wear with this dress?

I have this absolutely stunning deep purple cocktail dress but it is very simple so I want some bold shoes to go with it, plus, I love to highlight my legs. The problem is, I can not decide what color shoes (I'm going for a simple pump so I can wear them again)- my first thoughts were red or a Leopard Print, maybe a yellow, but I don't want to go too cartoonish. I don't want white. Any suggestions?
