TI-84 Silver Edition TI-Connect Issue?

I recently bought a TI-84 Silver Edition, but I cannot link it with my computer.

I already installed TI-Connect properly, and accepted the Vista warning on drivers. When I connect my TI-84, Vista prompts me to install the driver, which I declined, thinking it's already installed.
When trying the connection on TI-Connect, it does not recognize any calculators connected, so I suspected that the driver was not installed properly.

So I checked the device manager and found it not installed. I removed the incorrectly installed device and installed TI-Connect again, to no avail.

Any ideas?

I had the exact same problem, I even downloaded the software that was compatible with vista. I uninstalled and reinstalled several different versions of the ti connect software and still no luck, two hours down the drain. My best bet is to call texas instruments customer service and have them walk you through. That is what I am going to do when their office open. People that work with this kind of stuff everyday always know that one silly setting or something that you never really know about checking. Good Luck.
