So you want to do some mining in World of Warcraft, but don’t know where to go to make a lot of gold? Valkor’s Gold Making Guide provides a few tips on how to improve your mining skill and the best World of Warcraft Mining locations. These locations are the places where you can maximize your time and get a good amount of gold in return.

Instead of starting out with World of Warcraft mining locations that provide only a little return, let’s look at some places where you can really bring in the gold from mining. The ore we are going to mine is Thorium. This ore alone sells for a good price at the Auction House (8-10 gold per stack), but one of the added bonuses of mining Thorium is the chance to get an Arcane Crystal. The three best places to mind Thorium are the Burning Steppes, the Eastern Plaguelands, and Winterspring. I’ve had a good amount of success in the Eastern Plaguelands, but I’m sure it varies from server to server. Now, since these places might be a little crowded, you can head over to Un’Goro and mine Thorium from some veins in that area. It’s not uncommon to make over 50 gold an hour just mining Thorium and Arcane Crystals in these areas.Click Here

What can you do in Pokemon Crystal that you can't in Gold/Silver?

I am trying to decide which one to play.... i kinda want to play gold because i have Shiny Gold (the hacked Rom) which has better graphics but nothing else diff than normal gold....
i wanted to know what makes crystal SOO much better, like how yellow was much better than red/blue

Well, at the beginning of the game, you can choose whether you're a boy or girl. Whenever you go into a new town/city, its name will appear at the top left-hand corner of the screen. There are also the three legendary dogs as there were in gold and silver; Sucuine (water-type), Entei (fire), and Raikou (electric). In gold and silver, they all run away from you. If you want to catch them, you'll have to search in random grassy patches for all three of them. In Crystal, Sucuine will challenge you to a battle in the Euarthquake (I don't know if that's spelled right) Tower. I recommend saving before you enter. There are more trainers for you to fight, including one guy that chases after Sucuine. There's also a Battle Tower in Crystal that wasn't in gold or silver.
