Liquid Crystal Display Television - Still King of the Hill in TV

There's a new king of the hill when it comes to wide screen TV. It's goes by the name liquid crystal display television or LCD TV. They're thinner, lighter, and cheaper than their directly competing technology - plasma TV. And with great improvements in LCD technologies, advantages of plasmas such as having the blackest blacks are slowly becoming none entities.

LCD technology is arguably the most ubiquitous display technology ever. Having been integrated in cellphones, PocketPCs, laptops, desktops, and even ebook readers, you can find them almost everywhere. Look around your living room now. Chances are, you'll find at least one piece of electronics device using a liquid crystal display.

One plus factor that LCD technology has is that it is very scalable. In the television industry alone, you can find 14"-30" as well as 40"-50" screens. That practically covers the entire spectrum of consumers. In other words, LCD TVs have buyers from class A, B, & C.

The price of liquid crystal display televisions sets are expected to go down further as companies like Sharp, Samsung, and LG introduce more lines. Taiwan's glass shortage is also slowly about to end. That would mean better bargains in LCD TVs in the near future.

In terms of energy consumption, liquid crystal display television sets are less demanding than plasma TVs. That would make them highly popular among today's green conscious buyers. Even though the largest wide screen displays really consume huge amounts of energy (regardless whether they're LCDs or plasmas), some buyers tend to feel they're helping save the environment by turning to the lesser evil.

A new entrant in the television market is threatening to pose a challenge to LCDs and plasmas. In the recent Ceatec electronics show in Tokyo, 3D television systems were able to drum up a lot of interest. But before liquid crystal display television sets and even plasma TVs can consider the new entrant a serious threat, 3D TV makers need to get rid of those goofy glasses first.

In the meantime, keeping your eyes open for the next LCD TV for sale would presently promise you the biggest bang for the buck.

myth and folklore: what is the best crystal to wear to protect against evil/negative energies?

Since we moved into our new house I have been getting this awful feeling or negative energy. I mean sometimes, for no reason I will just suddenly be overwhelmed by this horrible gripping feeling of terror. I sense that there is some type of spirit in my house and I just want it and this fear to be gone. I have heard about crystals that can be worn for protection. What would be the best one for me? I need one that protects against evil and negativity and helps control fear. Preferable a really strong one. Thank u!

Jet is the best, or obsidian if you can get it. However, I wouldn't just let an evil spirit linger around just because you have a protective crystal. Try doing a cleansing ritual in your house to be rid of it completely.
