I got ear pierced about a month ago, when starter stud is out should I go with diamond stud or sleeper/hoop?

I'm nineteen and I had my ear pierced about a month ago, I'm curious as to whether I should predominantly wear a diamond stud or a simple sleeper/stud/hoop earring when I take my starter stud out in about a week or two?
