What kind of ring should I buy for my self?

I'm not gay or anything, I just want some cool metal on my hand, and everywhere i look its like wedding band, wedding rings, is there a cool plain ring that's a cool material? Tungsten, Titanium or Carbon fibre, something like that. I'm a 17 year old, so something nice not too flashy just plain old school would be nice.
