What do you think?

This is what I am considering to be my engagement ring. My fiancee is letting me pick one out and I thought this would be nice because its real white gold and diamond. We are on a tight budget.

I was skeptical about getting the ring online so I did go to Kay Jewlers online and i found a better ring. Its even cheaper but I think its nicer. Let me know what you think...

Very nice. It has an elegant look but the price is sure reasonable.

I don't agree with the poster who said that an engagement ring "should" be a surprise. In my mind, that puts women back into the cateogry of chattels. We have right to participate in the decision on the ring that symbolizes our relationship. For those who choose not to participate, fine. For those who do choose to participate in the selection, that's fine too.

What's an absolute diamond?

and would it typically come in Real Gold or silver (around it)
thinking about buying a victoria wieck ring and having it engraved with my graduation year. want good quality

Absolute diamond is just a patent name for a Cubic Zirconia at HSN.com. You can buy some Absolute with Real Gold, but it costs alot more, silver or vermile, which is 14 Karat Gold Over Sterling silver.

Not sure if vermile can be engraved.. you should ask the engraver first so you know what to buy.
